Privacy Policy
What we collect, why we collect it, and — just as importantly — what we never see.
⭐ What we never see
Your models, drawings, reports and calculations never leave your computer. Lunia is desktop software. It does not upload your project files, and we have no access to them. Nothing you design is visible to us, stored by us, or used by us for any purpose.
We do not sell data to anyone, and we do not use your data for advertising.
What we collect, and why

The website
We use privacy-friendly analytics that count page visits without cookies and without tracking you between sites or building a profile of you. If you email us or fill in a form, we keep what you sent so we can reply.
Where your data is held
Account and licence data is held on servers in the European Union, operated by Hetzner Online GmbH on our behalf.
Payments are handled by specialist payment providers, who hold your payment details. We never see your card number or your mobile-money PIN.
Email is sent through a specialist email delivery provider, who processes your address only in order to deliver it.
How long we keep it
- Account and licence records — for as long as you hold a licence, and afterwards for as long as we must keep them for tax and accounting purposes.
- Sign-in and activation logs — 12 months, then deleted.
- Trial accounts that never bought — your name and email address are deleted 6 months after the trial ends. A one-way fingerprint of the computer is kept, so that the same machine cannot start repeated trials.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can ask for a copy in a portable format, and you can object to how we use it.
⚠ Deleting your account ends your licence — the licence is the account. We will tell you before doing anything irreversible.
Email info@luniatech.com. We aim to answer within two (2) working days. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the data protection authority in your country.
Changes
If we change what we collect, we will update this page and, for anything material, tell licence holders by email.
